In the spring of 2023, after a long-term relationship ended and my biggest client restructured, I decided it was time to get out of dodge for a while and clear my head. I was struggling to decide whether to change jobs, houses and maybe even states. One morning, I woke up knowing I needed to do something big to sort through it all. Norway popped into mind.

Why Norway? I have no good answer. It just appeared, though admittedly, for good reason. I had a camper van and was very comfortable with that type of travel, and I also loved it! I could not think of a better way to see Norway than camping along the way. So off I went, having no idea one trip would turn into many.

During my first week of exploration, I felt the urge to share my trip with family and friends. Something in me knew this would be a journey I would want to document for myself as well. So, every day at noon, I would take a picture no matter where I was or what I was doing, and text it to a large group of contacts. I had friends responding that my images had become the highlight of their day. And for me, it ended up being one of the most enjoyable projects I had ever done.

After I returned from Norway, I not only knew that I had more trips to come but that I needed to share my experience more fully. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I have.
